Dance Course Requirements
Fine Arts Major in Dance: minimum of 15 credits in Fine Arts, including:
2 credits in Dance Performance I: Intro to Dance/Modern I
2 credits in Dance Performance II: Modern II/Ballet I
4 credits in Advanced Dance Performance:
Dance Performance IIIA: Modern III/Ballet II (2 credits)
Dance Performance IIB: Jazz I/Ethnic-Folk I (2 credits)
Dance Performance IVA: Modern IV/Ballet III (2 credits)
Dance Performance IVB: Jazz II/Ethnic-Folk II (2 credits)
2 credits in Choreography (if available) - Replace with Dance
1 credit in Fine Arts Connection course
4 or more credits in any Fine Arts courses, including music, art, drama,
dance, speech, creative writing, fashion, or design.
Fine Arts Minor in Dance: minimum of 11 credits in Fine Arts, including:
2 credits in Dance Performance I: Intro to Dance/Modern I
2 credits in Dance Performance II: Modern II/Ballet I
4 credits in Advanced Dance Performance IIIA, IIIB, IVA, IVB
2 credits in Choreography (if available) - replace with Dance
1 credit in Fine Arts Connection course
